Richards Barry Joyce & Partners Raises A “Ruckus” To Benefit Back On My Feet

On Saturday, five intrepid RBJ team members participated in Ruckus Boston – a four-mile, muddy obstacle course held at the Marshfield Fairgrounds.  The team – Billy Duncan, Alyse Garner, Emma Geldmacher, Samantha Hallowell and Jared Pimm – took on and conquered 30 obstacles that challenged them both physically and mentally.  The group endured mud, running, climbing over nets 15’ high, mud, huge monkey bars (definitely not playground size), mud, and a finish with a slide that starts two stories high.  And also mud.

Everyone had a great time and, most importantly, the event benefited a great cause.  All the money raised by the RBJ team was donated to Back on My Feet.  BoMF is a national nonprofit organization that is dedicated to creating independence and self-sufficiency within the homeless and other underserved populations by first engaging them in running as a means to build confidence, strength and self-esteem.  To learn more about BoMF or to make a donation, please visit www.backonmyfeet.org.  Or follow them on Twitter: @bomfboston.
